This journey—immersed in nature and local history—leads to the walls of the medieval village, where you can soak up the atmosphere of the traditional *Stringozzi* Festival, a celebration of the area's signature pasta. E-Bike Tour of the Fountains and Stringozzi Festival – In the Casperia countryside, fountains were built to facilitate the rural life of farmers. Watering troughs, wash houses, and simple fountains provided the entire population with access to the water they needed for daily life. It’s important to note that in the countryside of ancient “Aspra,” the original name of present-day Casperia, there are as many as 12 fountains, some of which have recently undergone structural and architectural restoration to enhance their prestige, functional, and artistic importance. One of them is adorned with frescoes by the Torresani Brothers, Veronese artists active in Sabina in the 14th century. This two-wheeled ride celebrates the cultural and social value of water as a natural element at the basis of life. The route will conclude at the walls of the village of Casperia, where you can join in the traditional festival of Stringozzi, a typical local pasta.
