The route begins among the foothills of the Sabine Mountains, where the landscape is colorful and authentic, dominated by limestone outcrops and dense holm oak forests. It begins in Casperia, the “pearl of Sabina,” winding through its winding streets offering unique views of the perfectly preserved medieval walls, until reaching the Church of San Giovanni Battista. On an e-bike, you climb the hillsides towards Montasola, a village perched on a rocky spur known as the “balcony of Sabina” for its sweeping views of the Tiber Valley. Here, amidst the quiet of the flower-lined streets or in the panoramic Monte San Pancrazio Park, you can enjoy a panorama immersed in a silence broken only by the wind. The assisted pedaling makes the return journey to Casperia pleasant, winding through centuries-old oak trees and solitary valleys where nature still reigns supreme.
