Starting from Casperia, a bulbous village of rare architectural beauty, you’ll explore narrow alleys and stairways that wind through panoramic squares and picturesque views until you reach the Church of San Giovanni Battista. Then, on your e-bike, you’ll ride along the scenic road to Roccantica, a village literally nestled in the rock overlooking the valley below, famous for its authentic atmosphere and the remains of ancient fortifications. Characteristic of the village are the two churches of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria and Madonna di Piedirocca, visited along the road to the castle. The return to Casperia along the foothill road is made easier by the electric motor, allowing you to admire the hills dotted with centuries-old olive trees, symbol of a land tied to ancient farming traditions. The return journey offers picturesque views of the surrounding walls of the starting point, completing a perfect circle of history, sport, and the nature of Lazio.
